In order to make the races feel more realistic, the developers will also add a feature called Livetrack 3.0, which will make a vehicle’s behavior more accurate as it moves through a track with different terrain and weather. Similar to other races in the game, you’ll still compete against other opponents in rallycross, but the constantly changing terrain means you’ll need to be more aggressive to stay in the lead. Since the February announcement, the studio has also revealed some of the new features coming to the sequel such as the introduction of rallycross racing, which will involve tarmac and off-road terrain. For example, you can jump right into the Formula 1 championship or work your way up the ranks starting with the short and fast kart racing. You don’t have to start off at the lower-tier levels of the discipline either. It will be available for Wii U at a later date. Similar to the first game, you can choose from multiple motorsport disciplines to play in the game, such as driving Le Mans prototypes or Formula 1 vehicles. Fortunately, theres not long to go, with it set to be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on the 8 May. Hopefully the Project Cars series can find its way back to mobile in some other form sometime in the future.According to Bandai Namco, the game’s publisher, the latest trailer highlights some of the races you’ll encounter as part of the main Career Mode. If paying with FasTrak, the license plate of the boat or trailer must be registered to your account. With a heavy heart, we must announce the service termination of Project CARS GO. It’s clear a lot of time and effort and money went into making this game, so it’s too bad to see it all come to an end so shortly after getting off the ground. It’s a shame because Project Cars GO is such a gorgeous looking game, and like I mentioned, for what it was it was pretty darn fun. I mean I get it, these games are majorly expensive to run in the first place, and if the revenue doesn’t roll in to at least offset the cost, then you’ve got to either hunker down for a major overhaul (which will cost even MORE money) or just throw in the towel. It never ceases to amaze me how ruthlessly companies will cut the cord on a free to play mobile game if things don’t go according to plan.
